First time poster, long time reader. lol. Is there no way that you could click an area on the map, say a car park, and all the points within a certain distance- say 1mile each way- are displayed? I know this would be limited now, but more points we get on the map then the busier it'll get so you may need to see everything you could do in a certain part? richard
Hi Richard I've been thinking along these lines as well. I think what might work OK is making the map zoom by using the mouse wheel. If you download the map and save it to your system then open it in a windows viewer it is zoomable with the mouse wheel and gives an idea of what can be done. I think this is a good idea for a future version of the software. I will try to work out the necessary coding so we dont leave everything to Emmet and Dom Regards JohnM
That sounds good, but i was thinking more along the lines of like a list appearing of all the features that are so far away from where you click, so if you park at say Degibna Carpark, you can click on it and see all the places within a certain distance? richard
Yes good idea but it's making my head spin thinking about the coding for that. I will search through some other PHP sites to see if this type of thing has been done before. John
