I know the whole idea of the project is that it should be as open as possible but my short experience using the internet and slightly longer experience of people in general shows that unfortunately everyone does not share the same "community spirit". There is bound to be someone who decides to try and wreak havoc on totally open software. We require people to register for the Forum. The admin then has ability to contact any of the members, should that be necessary and ban them if he/she sees fit. I think we would be wise to introduce a similar registration process for the main software. This can have a fringe benficial effect. Everyone feels better if they are a recognised member of a group. It gives a community spirit (sic) that can become very strong due to its volunteer status. I can also provide a limited level of security. We must be aware that, hopefully, children are going to be a big part of the enterprise and as such we have a certain duty to be seen to provide as much protection as we can to them. How would others feel about this? Regards John
